Introducing FUTWIZ Lyricz

We’re excited to announce the latest signing to Team FUTWIZ, Kylem “Lyricz” Edwards! The Englishman joins as our UK Xbox player via STARK Esports and has a wealth of tournament experience, having qualified for a number of events over the last two seasons.

The highlights of the FIFA 19 season for Kylem were undoubtedly Top 8 finishes at the first FUT Champions Cup, FIFA eClub World Cup and the ePremier League, where he represented Tottenham Hotspur. This followed up a breakthrough FIFA 18 season where he qualified for the Manchester FUT Champions Cup and Global Series Playoffs.

Kylem “Lyricz” Edwards –

“I’m really excited to be joining a very talented FUTWIZ roster of not only great players but also good friends. Want to thank Dan & Ruan as well as STARK Esports’s Sebo for making this possible, I have unfinished business coming into this season and cannot wait to get started!”

FUTWIZ Dan (Team Manager) –

“As soon as we learnt of Kylem’s interest in joining Team FUTWIZ it was something we were very keen to follow up on – a player with his talent, personality and work ethic is the perfect fit for our team and we’re looking forward to a successful future together.

Of course, there will be questions asked regarding his suspension last season, which was in response to a virtual currency code of conduct violation – obviously this was a very difficult time for Kylem as it ultimately cost him a place at the FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final. It is something we have discussed at length together with our friends at STARK Esports and Kylem himself, now he has served his suspension he’s looking forward to a fresh start and a season of redemption in a new environment where I feel at Team FUTWIZ we’re able to give players the best platform to succeed.

I think it speaks volumes that even though Kylem’s season ended early, he still attended events throughout the remainder of the season in a coaching capacity in order to help others – in particular he was a huge help for Team FUTWIZ at both the PGL Masters and Global Series Playoffs.

We’re excited to be collaborating with STARK Esports again, they’ve shown time and time again that they are first class at looking after their talents and they’ve been brilliant throughout the whole process.”
