We’re delighted to announce that our academy player, Tom “Tom” Leese has signed a professional deal with Team FUTWIZ. The 19 year old from the UK signed for Team FUTWIZ after an impressive debut season in 2017, finishing Top 6 in his first live tournament – the Paris FIFA 17 Season 1 regional. Tom found his form during the recent February qualifying month which he spent at the FUTWIZ HQ – recording three consecutive 39 out of 40 weekends in a row, he will be taking part in the upcoming Global eLeague, where he will be representing Team FUTWIZ in the Playstation 4 which kicks off this month.

“I’m extremely happy to have signed a professional contract for FUTWIZ. I’ve had a slow start to FIFA 18 but I’ve found my form & I’m hoping to continue in this fashion for the upcoming months. Thank you to the team and Dan for making this possible, a lot of the work Dan & Ruan put in goes unnoticed but they’ve helped me massively this year. Thanks again and I’m hoping for success in the upcoming Global E-League!”

FUTWIZ Dan (Co-Owner)

“We’ve been really pleased with how Tom has been progressing recently, after hosting him at our HQ during February it was clear to see how well he is adapting to FIFA 18 and has really kicked on in recent weeks. We’ve been seriously impressed by his determination and desire to improve, he’s an important part of the team and we’re delighted that he’s progressed from our academy and signed professional terms. We’re looking looking to seeing him compete in the Global eLeague and other tournaments in the future as a Team FUTWIZ Pro!”

Formed in 2012, FUTWIZ is a FIFA Ultimate Team Community site and eSports team featuring player databases, squad builders, packs, draft and much more!
